2014 Big Brother Africa (BBA 9) Audition Begins
Africa kicks off in September and already fans are asking… who will
the new housemates be?
Who will find their names and their faces gracing newspapers? Who will
become the subject of drive time radio and just who will find
themselves trending on all social media platforms?
Unlike previous years, this year's entry process is slightly different
as potential housemates are invited to come in their numbers for
auditions in their respective country venues.

All persons over the age of 21, who are citizens of one of the
participating countries and have a valid passport, can enter Big
Brother Africa 9. Previous editions of Big Brother Africa have boasted
huge cash prizes for winners and this it is no different as the prize
money is USD 300 000.
Entries are open to the following 14 countries: Botswana, Ethiopia,
Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South
Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It's season 8 will be screened live 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198
while GOtv audiences will see highlights of the show, which begins on
Sunday 7 September and is scheduled to run for 91 days. Big Brother
Africa is produced by ENDEMOL SA.

2015 AYC Qualifiers: Flying Eagles whip Tanzania 4-1
counterparts 4-1 in Kaduna to qualify for the third and final round of
the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifiers.
The national under-20 men's football team qualified on a 6-1
aggregate, after winning the first leg match two weeks earlier 2-0 in
Dar es Salaam.
They will now face the winners of the second round match between
Lesotho and Angola in August to secure a berth at the AYC in Senegal
in March.
In the match played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, hosts
Nigeria took the lead in the seventh minute through Alhassan Ibrahim
whose low shot beat goalkeeper Hamad Joma.
However, the Ngorongoro Heroes drew level after 16 minutes, when Banda
Hassan curled a free kick from outside the box beyond Flying Eagles
goalkeeper Joshua Enaholo.
Musa Yahaya put Nigeria in front again in the 33rd minute, moments
after Taiwo Awoniyi threw away a sitter and Wilfred Ndidi's header off
a corner missed target narrowly.
Two minutes later, Awoniyi made up for his several misses with a third
goal for the Flying Eagles, who continued to control proceedings.
Ibrahim would have made it 4-1 three minutes before half time, but
chose to shoot at goal and missed the mark.
Substitute Chidera Eze made the game safe for the Nigerian side in the
69th minute by scoring their fourth goal.

In 2006, the company partnered with a major international power company, Korean Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), to enable it to provide a wider range of solutions to the entire power sector chain throughout the region.
The resulting company KEPCO Energy Resource Ltd. (KERL) carried out major repairs to two boilers in Egbin Power Plant, Lagos State. Egbin has an installed capacity of 1320MW, but in 2006 could only generate 880MW. The work carried out by KERL added 440MW, restoring the plant to full capacity.
KERL is presently engineering a 1350MW Power Plant, to be installed in the Lagos area. The plant when built will consist of 3 - 450MW combined cycle power blocks.
NG Power Limited, an affiliate of KERL, is presently carrying out operation and maintenance of Omoku Power Plant. The Plant is a 150MW generating station which consists of six open cycle gas turbines, each with an installed generating capacity of 25 MW. The gas turbines are GE Nuovo Pignone model MS 5001 PA. The generating station came online in December 2006 with four turbine units at the start, while the other two came up a year later. The power generated is transmitted directly to the control center in Port-Harcourt (Ogindipa) via 132 KVA feeder lines. In addition, the power station directly exports power to neighboring communities of Okposi, Ndoni and Kirigene, among others.

Aiico Insurance seeks a qualified candidate to fill in this role
Responsibilities:
*.Identify market opportunities and position the company to take
advantage of such opportunities
*.Develop new market opportunities for additional product volumes
coming from current and future operating areas
*.Develop and implement the company's business development strategies
*.Prepare the company's strategy for price review and lead price
review teams at negotiations. Ensure Price Risk Management is handled
accurately and efficiently
*.Communicating with our existing clients while developing new
relationships to grow the company's revenue.
*.Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences
as a representative of the organization.
*.Establish and maintain confidential files and records
*.Facilitate organizational development activities such as strategic
planning, team building, process consultation and management coaching
*.Support strategic objectives by leading all marketing, business
development and sales initiatives to identify and develop new accounts
and maximize sales with existing accounts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
*.Minimum of OND in a relevant field
*.At least 0-2 years experience
*.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively
communicate with a wide range of individuals
